Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a new challenge?

If so, then our client is an established, family run business who are looking for an adaptable Office Administrator to support with their administrative tasks based in Croydon. This is a friendly working environment compact team where everyone supports each other. Therefore, they are seeking an all-round team player happy to take ownership of wider administrative and support functions.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

Location: Croydon

Start: ASAP

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Company pension, extra day off for your birthday, onsite parking

What will your working week involve?

  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) in timely manner.
  • Track stocks of office and staff welfare supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Process and manage incoming orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide sales support by cross-selling and upselling products.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
  • Help maintain and improve office systems and processes.
  • Support the procurement and finance teams with administrative tasks.
  • Create and update customer and company records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.

Do you have the required skills & attributes?

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
  • Ability to work to deadlines and/or under pressure and to remain calm
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Self-motivated / able to work on own initiative
  • Team player
