Our client, a reputable steel fabrication company, is seeking a Fitters Mate to assist with the installation of architectural and structural steel work.
The role involves working alongside tradesmen, helping with deliveries, and maintaining tidy work areas, while also performing tasks like drilling, tapping, and grinding metal.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and relevant certifications such as Manual Handling, working at heights, and in-date face fit.
The position offers a pay rate of £16.50 per hour via PAYE Umbrella, equating to £12.55 per hour through PAYE direct, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday.
A CSCS card is essential for this role, and candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of age, gender, or background.

Our client, an established Steel fabrication company is looking for a Fitters Mate to assist in installing architectural and structural steel work.

Duties:
Working alongside trade's men
Helping with deliveries
Keeping working areas tidy
Be able to drill, tap and grind metal.

The ideal candidate will have skill set in the following areas:

Be able to work well under pressure
Good commutation skill set
Hard working

Ideal candidates will possess: Manual Handling, working at heights and face fit in-date certificates.

Monday - Friday (days) rate: 16.50p/h PAYE Umbrella (equivalent to 12.55p/h PAYE direct).

8hrs per day
