Are you patient, caring, and passionate about helping children succeed? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a student with ADHD and sensory sensitivities.

Location : Croydon Area
Day rate : £(Apply online only) per day dependent on experience
Hours : 8:30am to 3:30pm
Role : Full time (Monday to Friday) 5 days Long term Job

Your Key Responsibilities as a SEMH LSA:

  • Provide movement breaks and sensory support to help the student focus.
  • Reduce anxiety during transitions and unstructured times by escorting and supporting the student.
  • Teach emotional regulation and social skills, tailored to their needs.
  • Work closely with the student’s family to ensure consistency between home and school.
  • Keep the student’s routine predictable and help them prepare for changes.
  • Collaborate with specialists, like Occupational Therapists, to meet their physical and emotional needs.
