We are seeking a dedicated SENCo to lead and manage the SEND provision across the school. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the strategic development of the school's SEND policy and provision.
  • Provide support, training, and guidance to colleagues to foster inclusive practices.

  • Collaborate closely with external agencies, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the support provided to SEND pupils.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold a SENCo Qualification or be close to completing.
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND strategies and relevant legislation.
  • Experience working effectively with local authorities.
  • Passion for ensuring all young people succeed.
  • Ability to work effectively within a supportive, committed, and successful staff team.
  • Robust understanding of the SEND Code of practice.
