Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and social development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of Year 4 students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and respected.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives and school-wide projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 4.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Additional Information:
- Contract type: Full-time, permanent position.
