Salary: £50,830 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Expected Hours: 42.5 hours per week 8am - 5pm with option for overtime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely and efficient project completion while maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure every piece meets our high standards of craftsmanship before leaving the spray factory, consistently delivering client satisfaction
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee regular maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of all spray painting equipment to keep operations running smoothly
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, sourcing supplies cost-effectively and minimising waste.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and support a team-oriented culture that emphasizes excellence, safety, and growth, providing training,support and feedback as needed
  • Safety Compliance: Champion and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for the entire team
  • Client Engagement: Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
  • Industry Insight: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, integrating best practices and new techniques to keep our services competitive
  • Financial Accountability: Manage budgets effectively, focusing on profitability and resource efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a managerial role within spray painting or a related field
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques and equipment, Kremlin spray pumps and Makor spray line
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading teams with a focus on quality, safety, and productivity
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and resource management
  • Problem-Solving: Decisive, proactive approach to handling operational challenges

Additional extras:

Schedule:

  • 8.5 hour shift (30 min deducted for lunch)
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London, SW17 0AR: relocating to Croydon CR0 4AA in January 2025 needs to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE / equivalent (preferred)

Experience (preferred):

  • Supervising experience: 7 years
  • Customer service: 7 years
  • Management: 7 years
  • Spray shop experience: 7 years
