Job Title: Aspiring Psychologist

Are you an aspiring Psychologist eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Aspiring Psychologist to join a SEND school in Croydon. This long-term role offers hands-on experience in a school setting, working closely with students to support their emotional and mental health development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students with emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
- Develop and implement personalised intervention plans.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and track their progress.
- Foster mental health awareness and positive well-being across the school.
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or related field (or working towards one).
- Passion for working with children in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
Please note that this role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must pass all background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
