Quantity Surveyor – £350 - £400 per day (INSIDE IR35) – Initial 6-month contract - Croydon
Opportunity:
Ford & Stanley Interim are proud to be working with a well-established technology and civils-based rail company who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis. This role is to assist in the successful and timely delivery of a multimillion-pound (£55m) CCTV installation project.
This is part of a wider £1bn rail upgrade project. You will be joining the team during the implementation phase of this project, a very exciting time to be involved. You will directly have a hand in improving the safety for thousands of passengers/rail employees who use the very busy line within London on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
As Quantity Surveyor, your role will have a particular focus on compensation events, change control, analysis of cost, program management, and subcontractor management. This will help ensure that the project is delivered within budget and according to contractual agreements while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Essential Criteria:
- 4+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience with NEC forms on contract (ideally NEC Option D)
- Experience in handling compensation events / change control
- Full UK Drivers Licence
