We are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time, long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality mathematics education and fostering a love for the subject among students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure all students can achieve their potential.
- Develop and use a variety of teaching techniques and materials that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school policies.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
- Stay current with educational research and pedagogy related to mathematics education to continually enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience as a Maths Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for mathematics and current educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
