Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

- Implement Teaching and Learning Responsibilities (TLR) effectively.

- Mentor and support Maths teachers to enhance their professional development.

- Develop and oversee the Maths curriculum, ensuring it meets educational standards and student needs.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Maths department.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

- Significant experience in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.

- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.

- Strong passion for Maths and commitment to student success.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
