We are seeking Maths Teachers to join our dynamic schools situated in the energetic communities of Greenwich, Lambeth, and Southwark. Day to day of the role:
- Plan and deliver compelling Maths lessons to secondary or post-16 students, cultivating a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical skills.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.
- Create a classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and promotes student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching practices and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programmes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest educational standards and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory.
- Prior experience in teaching Maths is advantageous, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also welcome to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and challenge students through effective teaching methods.
- Proficient classroom management skills and the ability to establish a nurturing learning atmosphere.
- A strong passion for Maths and dedication to continuous professional improvement.
