Are you a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher seeking a new opportunity to inspire students in a supportive environment? We are looking for a Teacher of Art to join a thriving school in Croydon, Outer London, from January or April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (NQTs) who are eager to share their expertise and nurture creativity among young learners at KS3 and KS4.
As a Teacher of Art, you will join a committed team with the goal of delivering an engaging and challenging curriculum that encourages students to explore and develop their artistic skills in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to develop their creative abilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
- Contribute to the development of the Art department and its curriculum
- Ensure students feel supported, confident, and motivated to succeed
- Foster high aspirations and provide guidance to students on their personal and academic development
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Proven experience in teaching Art, ideally at KS3 and KS4, although newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply
- A passion for Art and the ability to inspire students with a love of the subject
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting students' welfare
- A collaborative team player who is enthusiastic about professional development and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the school
