Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Croydon. This full-time role requires the candidate to be available five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Lead small group sessions and interventions.
- Provide support to students with their learning activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning space.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and enjoys working with students.
- Right to work in the UK.
- DBS check (willing to undertake one if needed).
