An 'Outstanding' and modern Secondary School in the heart of Croydon is seeking a Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join their team ASAP! This is a Long-Term and Full-Time role for at least the full academic year.
This Ealing Secondary School pride themselves on supporting students throughout their education from Year 7 to Year 3 and is seeking a Secondary Learning Support Assistant who will thrive in supporting students of all ages and abilities.
As a Secondary Learning Support Assistant, you will be tasked with:
- Helping Class Teachers to deliver subject material across all core areas of the curriculum
- Supporting students across the school on an academic basis
- Assisting students with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD and more in groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Setting targets and helping students to achieve them

- Secondary Learning Support Assistant
- Working with students across KS3-5 in and out of the classroom
- Collaborating with Teachers to provide all pupils with the support they need
- Large and inclusive Secondary School in Croydon
- Fantastic opportunities for CPD and future Teacher Training
ROLE DETAILS
- Based in Croydon
- Monday - Friday, Term-Time only
- 8.30am - 4pm
- ASAP Start
- 105 - 110 per day
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- A passionate graduate with a desire to work with children at present and in the future
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school environment
- A significant understanding of SEND/SEMH needs - previous experience is desirable
- An individual who is committed to the role for at least a full academic year
