We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for Students with Physical Disabilities to provide essential support in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with physical disabilities.
  • Assist with mobility and physical needs, including the use of specialised equipment.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and adapting learning materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with physical disabilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education or disability support (preferred).
