About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Electrician / Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team in Purley Way. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in electrical installations and fire alarm systems within a supportive and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and fire alarm systems.

  • Work alongside senior engineers on a variety of commercial and residential projects.

  • Carry out routine servicing, testing, and inspections of fire alarm systems.

  • Troubleshoot electrical and fire alarm system issues and assist with repairs.

  • Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Keep accurate records and complete necessary documentation for all work undertaken.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Travel to various sites in the company van as required.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Some experience in electrical work or fire alarm installation preferred but not essential.

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition) desirable.

  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in fire alarm systems.

  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Full UK driving license required.
