Job Overview:

Marble Talent Group LTD are working with a well-established fire and security company who are looking for a motivated and results-driven New Business Sales Executive to join their team, focusing on selling fire and security service contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, with the goal of expanding their client base and increasing revenue. You will be selling a range of services, including maintenance, monitoring, and compliance services for fire alarm systems, security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms), and fire protection equipment. This a Regional Sales role covering London & South East.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential opportunities across various sectors (e.g., commercial, industrial, retail, residential).

New Business Development:

Build relationships with key decision-makers such as facilities managers, property managers, and business owners.

Attend face-to-face meetings, presentations, and industry events to pitch service contracts for fire and security systems.

Understand the unique requirements of each client and propose tailored service solutions.

Sales Execution:

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.

Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly outline the value of our service contracts.

Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and conditions while ensuring profitability.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Market Knowledge:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire and security industry standards, regulations, and technologies.

Stay informed about competitor offerings to position our services effectively.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM software.

Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the operational and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery for new clients.

Liaise with marketing to support lead generation campaigns and promotional activities.

Experience:

Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the fire and security industry or a related sector.

Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience selling service contracts or solutions, with an understanding of fire alarm, security systems, and compliance requirements.

Skills:

Strong networking, negotiation, and closing skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Confidence in presenting to senior decision-makers and managing complex sales cycles.

Knowledge:

A good understanding of fire and security systems, maintenance, and compliance requirements.

Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS 6266, etc.) is advantageous.

Technology:

Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications:

A relevant qualification in sales, business, or the fire and security industry is desirable but not essential.

Valid driving license and willingness to travel within London & The South East.
