About The Role: Learning Support Assistant
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing personalized learning plans.
- Supporting students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Helping to differentiate lesson content to meet diverse learning needs.
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress and well-being.
- Preparing and organizing learning materials and resources.
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students during transitions and on school trips.
Qualifications and Skills: Learning Support Assistant
- Experience working with children
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or support work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to commute to Croydon
