Are you passionate about education and helping students overcome challenges? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ lives by providing support and guidance to those with behavioural challenges.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct functional assessments to identify the root cause of behavioural challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized behaviour plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to individuals with behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with other members of the support team, including case managers, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and track progress, and adjust behaviour plans as needed.
  • Provide training and support to family members and caregivers on effective behavioural strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Patience and a willingness to build relationships with children.
  • Empathetic nature.
  • Experience working as a general teaching assistant (preferably).
  • Good behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults.
