Academics is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to work at Primary Schools in the Crodon Area.
Key Responsibilities - Daily Supply Teaching Assistant - Croydon
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to provide tailored support
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage pupil engagement and participation in class activities
- Supervise children during break and lunch times when required
- Foster the social and emotional development of pupils
- Ensure safeguarding policies are followed at all times
Requirements:
- Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential)
- A passion for education and supporting children's learning
- Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to different classroom environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude, patience, and resilience
- Right to work in the UK
