Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: South Croydon
Pay: £83.33 to £85 per day PAYE
About the School:
We are working a dedicated Primary SEN school in South Croydon, focused on providing high-quality education and support to children with Autism and Learning Difficulties.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join their fantastic team. The role involves supporting children with Autism and Learning Difficulties, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the educational and social development of students.
- Provide support to individual students in the classroom to facilitate their participation in activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and support students' emotional well-being.
- Work closely with teachers to create and implement individualized learning plans.
- Support students during classroom activities, on trips, and during break times.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with Autism and Learning Difficulties is preferred.
- A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to enhancing the educational experience of students with special needs.
