SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Croydon
Start Date: 25th November 2024 (or ASAP)
Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term time only, 45 minutes unpaid lunch)
Grade: 3 – SCP 5-6 (FTE: £27,030 - £27,438)
Contract: 30 hours per week, 46.2 weeks per annum
Position: Permanent

Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and creative SEN Teaching Assistants to join an already outstanding and hardworking team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support our pupils' learning, therapy programs, and medical and personal care needs, ensuring that each child can participate and contribute to the best of their ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of educational programs and therapy sessions.
  • Support the medical and personal care needs of pupils.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
