We are looking for Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants to join our team to support schools across Croydon and the surrounding areas. This is within both mainstream and SEN schools.

These role could be short term day to day, covering the whole Summer term or longer term contracts also.

We are seeking someone who has a passion for supporting SEN children and an ability to support pupils in both 1:1 and group settings.

Day to day you will be:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment
  • Build positive relationships with the child
  • Supporting to explain and complete tasks
  • Tailor educational activities to meet each child's unique needs, ensuring they receive the best possible learning experience.
  • Work alongside teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement personalised education plans.
  • Communicating with parents
  • Promoting the general wellbeing of the children
  • Observe and assess the pupils progress and be able to report back to the classroom teacher and parents

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong communication, patience, and adaptability to cater to varying need
  • A brilliant team player
  • Previous work with children with special educational needs is advantageous but not mandatory. A genuine passion for supporting children is essential.
