Day-to-day of the role:- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with various special educational needs.
- Implement and adapt educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to participate and engage in learning activities.
- Use innovative and adaptive techniques to support the educational and social development of students.
- Act as a liaison between students, teachers, and parents to foster a collaborative approach to education.
- Demonstrable experience in a SEN Teaching Assistant role or similar.
- A deep understanding of the educational and emotional needs of children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and creative approach to teaching and supporting students.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience, with a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
