The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student development and well-being.
  • Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning plans.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
  • Experience in SEN education, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong knowledge of different learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
