Are you a compassionate, patient, and creative educator ready to make a difference? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our OFSTED-rated 'Outstanding' Special Needs School in South Croydon, catering to children aged 4-11 years. You would be teaching Year 1 students.

What We Need From You:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Certificate recognised by Naric.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with students with SEND in mainstream or special settings.
  • Skills: Patience, understanding, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
  • Requirements: Existing DBS check on the update service. Experience with PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method, and other communication approaches is advantageous but not essential.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual EHCP plans.
  • Conduct assessments and ensure safeguarding of all pupils.
  • Collaborate with teaching and support staff for the best student outcomes.
  • Promote independence and well-being among students.
