Trade Counter Sales - Builders Merchants

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson to join their well-established client in Croydon, This is a full-time role, the successful candidate will join on a permanent basis.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 06:30 to 16:00

Alternate (1 on 1 off) Saturdays 06:30 to 11:00

This Role Involves:

• account managing customers
• responding to emails and taking inbound calls from customers and suppliers
• liaising with suppliers
• providing quotes
• helping customers on the trade counter
• providing a brilliant customer service face to face and on the phone
• keeping trade counter area stocked and organised
• processing orders

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

• a minimum of 2 years trade counter sales experience within a building supplies business
• computer literate
• confident dealing with customers over phone, email and face to face
• brilliant customer service skills
• understanding of profits & margins
• fluent English speaking, reading & writing
• willing to learn new skills
• living in a commutable distance to Croydon
