NTP Tutor

We are seeking dedicated and adaptable NTP Tutors to join our team and make a difference in the lives of pupils in Croydon Area. As part of the National Tutoring Programme, you will have the opportunity to help students catch up on their education and contribute to their academic success. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about education and personal development.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver tailored tutoring sessions to primary school pupils in English, Maths, or Science.

• Assess the individual needs of pupils and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

• Monitor and report on the progress of students.

• Utilise IT resources effectively to enhance learning experiences.

• Work collaboratively with school staff to support the overall educational goals of the pupils.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent, ideally with an English, Maths, or Science specialism, or;

• Graduate with a degree in English, Maths, or Science, or;

• Teaching and Learning Support Worker with relevant qualifications or at least 6 months experience.

• Strong competence in using IT and access to a laptop/computer with a working microphone and camera.

• Stable internet connection.

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is desirable.

• Experience working in a classroom setting is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Valid teaching certification is preferred, but not required.
