Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm + alternate Saturdays

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience. Additional £91 per month salary uplift for MOT qualified technicians

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join our client’s dedicated team in Croydon on a permanent basis!

The mechanical dealership in Croydon is responsible for the servicing and repairs of manufacturer vehicles to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines.

As a diagnostic technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, diagnosing and repairing of manufacturer vehicles.

Objectives for Role:

  • Follow a job card to carry out approved repairs
  • Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs
  • Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and repairs completed
  • Test drive vehicles to identify performance issues and ensure repairs are successful
  • Follow warranty processes for each manufacturer whilst adhering to the correct level of repair
  • Able to work as part of the mechanical team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of the department.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • You will need to be Qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ or IMI qualified to Level 2 or 3
  • It would be a big plus if you have experience on brand products like Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Jeep, Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo
  • You will also need previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting.
