We are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team, responsible for welding and fabricating sheet metal components. The role requires experience in MiG welding and fabrication, along with proficiency in using hand tools and welding equipment. We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating sheet Metal (SS) components and bodywork using various tools and equipment.Duties- Fabricate and Weld (MiG) sheetmetal components according to specifications- Use hand tools, power tools, Guillotine and welding equipment proficiently- Assemble parts to create finished products- Perform MiG welding, Oxi-acetylene and work with sheet metal (Mild)- Apply mechanical fitting knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issuesExperience- Experience in MiG welding and fabrication- Proficiency in using hand tools, rivet gun. power tools, and welding equipment- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship- Mechanical aptitude for problem-solving tasks- Commercial vehical body building benefitial- Live within easy commute of the Croydon area

This is a full-time role, 45 hours week Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 5.30pm. Friday 7.00am to 12.00pm. There will be overtime available Friday afternoon which is at Time and a halfRate £16.00 per hour (rising with experience) + Excellent Benefits including 31 days holiday, pension, productivity bonus and death in service Insurance.
