Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts:07:40-17:20 - Monday-Thursday, 07:40-11:40 - Friday

What does the Manufacturing Technician role involve?

The successful candidate’s main responsibility will be the operation of automated liquid dispensing/labelling lines. The successful candidate will be cross trained across our auto dispense, manual dispense and labelling teams. The role will require you to develop a varied skillset, including:

The role:

  • Following company procedures for the set-up and operation of dispense/labelling lines.
  • Following company procedures for the dispensing and labelling of a range of diagnostic products.
  • Maintaining the relevant documentation.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of an automated dispense/labelling line.
  • Trouble-shooting basic problems relevant to the automated dispense/labelling line.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of equipment and instruments used in association with the automated dispense and labelling lines.

Full on the job training will be provided on our processes.

Who can apply?

This role would suit someone with great numerical, verbal, and written communication skills, along with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Language.
  • A valid right-to-work in the UK.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of operation of automated dispense/labelling equipment.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience of Quality Systems.
  • A driving license.
