This role is in a very exciting business who are looking to grow. The position is a shift role looking after up to 20 operatives with a Food Manufacturing environment.

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Ensure the health and safety of shop floor employees and ensure their compliance with all PCL safety rules.
  • Deliver products according to plan and within specifications to ensure the highest quality and service.
  • Maximize the utilization and efficiency of assets to maintain a balance between capacity and demand.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics and process to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and finished product.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Train and supervise up to 20 production staff, providing guidance and support as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams. teams including training, discipline, development, and moral
