My Client in Abingdon is seeking a Manual Turner to produce parts according to engineering drawings, performing various machining operations.
Candidates should have a good understanding of engineering drawings and preferably possess a couple of years of experience post-apprenticeship.
The hourly rate will be agreed upon based on experience, with a working week of 37 hours and potential overtime.
The role primarily involves working with materials such as stainless steel, alloys, brass, copper, and plastics.

My Client in Abingdon is looking for a Manual Turner.

The job includes producing parts to the right tolerances from the engineering drawings & able to perform turning,boring, trepanning, roughing & finishing operations. Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Good understanding of engineering drawings necessary. Mainly working with Stainless Steel,alloys, brass, copper & plastics.

You should be self-motivated and enthusiastic and be able to work efficiently alone and as a Team player.

Working week 37hrs with occasional over time depending on customer requirements ( Mon- Thurs 8am-4pm & Fri 8am-1pm)

Hourly rate to be agreed depending on experience.

Preferred time served apprentice with a couple of years experience post apprenticeship
