About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining site operations by overseeing engineering and maintenance repairs, handling breakdowns, and executing planned and preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct all engineering and maintenance repairs on-site
  • Efficiently handle machinery breakdowns and ensure equipment safety
  • Maintain firefighting systems and ensure staff are fully trained on safety standards
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities and manage inventory of critical spares
  • Oversee building upkeep and manage schedules for maintenance teams

About You
This position is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in a fast-paced environment, such as FMCG.

Key Skills

  • Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship OR minimum 5 years' relevant experience
  • Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or refrigeration (certification is a plus)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working autonomously

Working Hours

  • Continental Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
  • Day Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00; Night Shifts: 18:00 - 06:00
