gap personnel Exeter, are currently recruiting for a Freight/Logistics Forwarder based on the outskirts of Cullompton. You will be joining a global market leader who supply medical equipment globally.
Duties of a Freight Forwarder but not limited to:
- Organising the shipment of goods
- Negotiating terms with carriers, booking cargo space, and making payments
- Managing customs clearance procedures, transport documents, and insurance paperwork
- Tracking and communicating shipment status with clients in real-time
- Checking that shipments are delivered on time.
- Researching freight rates and arranging shipments between different locations with asset-based transport outfits
- Sending the necessary documents for collection
About You:
- Freight or Logistics Experience
- Strong eye for detail
- Self Sufficient
- This role could become permanent for the right person.
Working Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 0900am – 1700pm
- £25,000 - £28,000PA

Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business.
