Your new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are working on behalf of their exclusive client for a part-time accounts assistant to join this organisation based near St Andrews on a temporary basis for circa 6 months. This role is based working in the office 21 hours a week. There is an excellent rate of pay on offer of £16.50 - £17.50 per hour depending on experience.Your new roleReporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a small and busy team, your main focus will be processing supplier invoices & statements. You will handle queries raised by suppliers and colleagues regarding purchase invoices and payments. You will complete daily cash processing and reconciliations and provide cover for various accounting functions as required.What you'll need to succeedYou will be an accounts assistant with good experience in purchase ledger invoice processing. You will possess excellent communication skills with a strong customer service ethic. You will have excellent attention to detail and good IT skills including Excel.
