The roleThis role of Document Control and Services Administrator is ideal for someone with strong document control experience, who thrives in fast-paced, project-driven environments, and is passionate about supporting large-scale engineering projects.

Day to day, your activities will lie within key areas:

  • Preparation and development of drawing & document control registers
  • Submission of drawings & documents to relevant stakeholders
  • Management of project class appraisals with various class societies
  • Receipt, checking, and distribution of supplier documentation
  • Control of approval/comment processes with suppliers
  • Support for shipowners, including dry dock repeat material ordering, OSSP tracker admin, aftersales invoicing, open order expediting, data filing, and stock control
  • Expediting document receipt and supporting various documentation tasks
  • Assistance with invoice queries and liaison with other departments

This role is full time, Monday to Friday and is based at our Rosyth site, with hybrid working arrangements- 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Document Control and Services Administrator:

  • Document Control Experience: Proven experience in document control, ideally in a technical or engineering field, with a strong understanding of project documentation management.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear, confident, and effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Multi-Tasking and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly motivated with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is essential.
  • Supplier Liaison: Ability to correspond with suppliers, including those based outside of the UK.
