Chef Positions Available in Fife
Are you a dedicated Chef who takes great pride in your work? If so, we'd love to hear from you! We are currently recruiting for chefs to join our team at in Fife. The hours will vary from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for residents
- Presenting food attractively and ensuring it is appetizing
- Storing food according to food hygiene regulations
- Minimizing waste and disposing of food appropriately
- Performing regular temperature checks on food and fridges, keeping accurate records
- Working as part of a team, with the ability to also work independently
- Engaging with service users daily and gathering feedback on meals
- Reporting any compliments, comments, or complaints regarding the food
Requirements:
- PVG membership (application can be processed through ASA; costs apply)
- Valid food hygiene and allergens certificates
- Proven experience as a Chef, with at least 2 references, one of which must be from a Chef position
- A strong understanding of infection control and health & safety regulations in food preparation
