Description

  • Developing financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements.

  • Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analysing results.
  • Ensuring compliance with the law and the organisation's policies.
  • Advising the board on financial matters and recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Overseeing the operations of the finance department.
  • Coordinating audits and proper filing of tax returns.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

Profile

A successful 'Finance Director' should have:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
