Are you an experienced Credit Controller or a Finance Admin professional looking to step into a Credit Control role? Our lovely client in Cwmbran is seeking a proactive, motivated individual to join their friendly finance team.

About the Role:

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments, and building strong relationships with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in a supportive environment with full training provided for those transitioning from a finance administration background. You will play a key role in maintaining financial stability for the company while enjoying the benefits of hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer accounts and overseeing credit control processes
  • Chasing overdue payments and resolving invoice disputes
  • Liaising with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth payment processes
  • Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained
  • Reporting on aged debt and cash flow
  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required

About You:

  • Previous experience in a finance admin or credit control role (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Eager to learn and develop within the role
