Reed Education Cardiff (SEND) is currently looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to support local schools with their everyday needs. We collaborate with schools in Cwmbran and surrounding areas that are seeking various positions, including day-to-day and long-term placements. These schools cater to young people with Severe Learning Difficulties, providing an adaptable education journey tailored to individual needs.
As a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant (SEN/SEMH), you will:
- Have previous experience in a regulated role, ideally with SEMH/SEND/SEN
- Possess a calm and patient manner with the ability to be resilient when necessary
- Be fully adaptable to the needs of the school and the individual you will be working with
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
- Be registered with the EWC
As a Teacher, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status
- Meet the above criteria
Salary for these roles:
- Teacher: £166-200 per day
- Teaching Assistant: £13.68-15 per hour (depending on experience)
