Due to continued investment, this leading-edge manufacturing business is currently in the midst of a huge recruitment drive and is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Cwmbran or Gloucester on a 12 months contract basis - rates 35.00 - 45.00 per hour inside IR35

The Role

In order to develop and expand the capabilities in the UK, we are looking for contractor support of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support developments of Aerospace Cabin interior activities.

You will be responsible for the management of teams producing electrical installations models and detail drawings for new product and platform designs, so you must be an experienced line manager and used to managing KPIs.

You will also be responsible for the checking and approval of all electrical design work to meet company, regulatory and customer requirements so stakeholder management and excellent communication skills are vital.

You:

* Experience within Aerospace / Automotive sector in an Electrical Engineering role
* Excellent knowledge of CATIA V5
* Ability to read design drawings and specifications
* Experience with electrical routing design and installations
* Team Management / Line Management experience
* Excellent spoken and written English
