Monday - Friday, 9am-5pmHere at The Recruitment Co, we are recruiting an Administrator Estimator role in Cwmbran on a permanent contract. No previous experience in Estimating is required but just someone who is willing to learn. Preferably with some admin experience.Main Job roles:

  • Create estimates and ensure all estimates are dealt with promptly and accurately.
  • Liaise with sales team to ensure a correct understanding of the project requirements and the customer's needs.
  • Generate estimates and projects based on scopes of works.
  • To be trained to estimate a wide diverse portfolio of projects
  • Ensure estimating procedures and protocols are followed
  • Gain an understanding of individual projects, its background, and the project overall, this will then allow you to determine the correct level of measurement.
  • Review daily & weekly reports for estimates processed.
  • Support other members of the estimating team.
  • Creating and updating the database in a timely manner
  • Utilise the estimating tools to streamline work content

Required

  • Good communicator.
  • Has the ability to work with people from different functions within the business
  • Computer knowledge an advantage
  • Able to work with Microsoft Excel , PDF and Word
