Our client is seeking an Electrically bias Multi-Skilled Technician to provide a timely and effective engineering service to their production team while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. 

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Carry out planned maintenance activities as scheduled by the maintenance plan.
  • Attend and repair breakdowns as required, reporting all actions and further actions needed.
  • Proactively prevent equipment failures and enhance overall equipment performance by generating and implementing improvement ideas and modifications.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, minimizing risks and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Cooperate with contractors to ensure compliance with site rules and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in preventative and predictive maintenance, with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
  • Experienced in diagnostic fault finding under production pressure.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, particularly Allen Bradley, and familiarity with AB PowerFlex range of AC Inverters.
  • Experience with CMMS, ideally SAP.
