Sales Engineer

The Role

We are pleased to offer a unique and exciting opportunity for a driven Sales Engineer to join our clients dynamic and expanding engineering team. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical acumen who enjoys working with clients to deliver customized solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs, helping to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and ensure all customer needs are met throughout the sales journey

Present and demonstrate technical solutions to customers, highlighting the products capabilities and aligning them with the customers requirements

Engage with clients to address their technical questions, providing clear, accurate, and timely responses

Prepare well-structured, detailed proposals and quotations, tailored to specific client needs and project requirements

Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring continued support and customer satisfaction, while identifying opportunities for future sales

Maintain a deep understanding of the companys products and services to accurately position them against competitor offerings and industry trends

Keep up with industry changes, technological advancements, and competitors to offer strategic insights and advice to both clients and internal teams

Work with the engineering team to refine and improve product offerings based on customer feedback and technical insights

Support the creation of technical marketing materials and internal resources to enhance the sales process

Key Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated experience in a technical or engineering role, with a strong customer focus

Proven ability to work in customer-facing environments, providing solutions and technical advice

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for a broad audience

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail

Experience interpreting technical documentation, drawings, and specifications

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver the best possible customer outcomes
