Role: Senior care worker

Area: Cwmbran

Shifts: Days and Nights

Pay: £14

As a senior care worker you will:

  • Oversee and supervise the shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Liaise with other health care professionals, staff and families.
  • Assist with the administration of medication.
  • Work in a person centred way, ensuring the needs of the client are at the core of the service you provide.
  • Assist with moving and handling of the service users, operating equipment such as hoists in line with safety policies.
  • Provide assistance with daily activities such as personal care, light domestic duties and meal times.
  • Offer companionship and be a friendly face to the service users.
  • Manage documents and records to ensure they are up to date.

Requirements:

  • 6 months UK senior care experience.
  • Training in medication administration.
  • NVQ Level 3
  • An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one.
  • A caring personality and a strong desire to support others.
