The purpose of this role is to effectively manage the factory work operation in the execution of the overall production planwhilst driving down process cost for a 6 month FTC.

Description

ï‚· Be responsible for the manufacture and/or delivery of product to customer requirements.ï‚· Plan resource to meet production output.ï‚· Co-ordinate production loading plans with cross-sectional Managers.ï‚· Identify and address training needs to maintain quality output in accordance with the Quality Procedures.ï‚· Promote a Lean environment.ï‚· Contribute to the strategic development of the Company.ï‚· Accurately report on KPI's.ï‚· Monitor and report on budgets and targets.ï‚· Implement working practices to reduce health and safety risks to as low as is reasonably practicable.ï‚· To become the lead, mentor and developer within the team

Profile

Supervisory / Management EducatedSound knowledge of lean and problem solving toolsPrevious experience of leading a team within a high density businessDemonstrable experience of driving a culture of lean and continuous improvementFamiliar user of Microsoft packagesRoot cause analysis, Corrective actions, 4D, 8D problem solving. QRQC Problem Solving.
