As a skilled Housing Development Manager, you will join a social enterprise which is dedicated to making a difference within communities, and to the lives of thousands of people across the South Wales region. You will work for an inclusive and supportive employer who are passionate about creating a great place to work. Your new roleThis is an exciting time to work in affordable housing development. Your work will contribute towards the development and delivery of over 540 new unit builds planned for the next five years across the region. Your new role will include working across turnkey development processes, from site feasibility, planning, or progressing through section 106 acquisitions, through to delivery of new construction projects, controlling project budgets, collaborating with local authorities where required, and managing building contractors to ensure developments are completed to the required specification and quality. What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this position, it would be great if you are able to demonstrate experience working on the client-side, either for a local authority, third sector organisation, or housing association, taking ownership and responsibility of the delivery of housing development projects from conception through to completion.
