The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant for a 1-1 role working with a pupil with autism (ASD) The successful candidate will be working with the class teacher to plan and provide a stimulating and inclusive learning experience for the pupil in your care. The pupil's needs are a combination of academic and physical so the successful candidate must be comfortable providing elements of personal care including changing.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification Or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Patience and initiative
- Desired - experience with Makaton
