WPRG is seeking experienced Class 2 drivers for a position in Dagenham with a salary of £40,525 per annum plus overtime.
The job offers various employment options, including permanent and ongoing hourly pay, with guaranteed weekend work.
Candidates must have at least 3 months of experience on their Class 2 license and possess a valid UK Driving Licence, Digital Tachograph Card, and CPC Card.
Drivers will be responsible for delivering baked goods to various stores in the southeast, averaging 20 drops per shift with start times between 00:01am and 03:00am.
This role requires the ability to physically load and unload the vehicle if necessary, and is not suitable for drivers without Class multidrop experience.

Permanent basis

Salary is £40,525 per annum plus overtime days
28 days annual leave

working a 4 on 3 off or 3 on 3 off shift basis depending on preference

Fixed shift basis

Hourly pay rates as below stated
Can fix shifts weekly on an ongoing basis guaranteeing you the same days and start times
Fixed shifts must include at least 1 day of the weekend

Working weekends on a guaranteed basis
Permanent basis and will be salary pay

THIS JOB IS NOT SUITABLE FOR DRIVERS WITH NO CLASS MULTIDROP EXPERIENCE!

Our client based in Dagenham is looking for experienced Class 2 drivers to join their team. In this position, you will be delivering baked goods to various stored / convenience stores around the south east of England in a class 2 vehicle. You will be responsible for the delivery of products to sites and third party customers and you must ensure all products are delivered to customers safely and of the quality expected.

Your HGV class 2 role involves:

Average of 20 drops per shift
Delivering around 8 - 10 baskets per drop
Start time between 00:01am - 03:00am
Average of 12 hours per shift

Pay Rates

Option 1 - (PAYE including Holiday Pay)

Weekdays: £19.95ph / Saturday £22.53 ph /Sunday: £23.81 ph /Bank Holiday: £28.95 ph

Option 2 - (PAYE Holiday Pay accrued)

Weekdays: £17.81ph / Saturday £20.11 ph /Sunday: £21.25 ph / Bank Holiday: £25.84 ph

You must fulfil the following for this HGV Class 2 position:

Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
Hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Hold a Valid CPC Card
At least 3 months on your class 2 licence (and proven experience in the 3 months)
Valid UK Class 2 licence
You must be able to physically load and unload the vehicle if needed
